DronesBench was created to give the drone industry the possibility to optimize the engineering and the quality of their products, in order to assure greater safety.
The principle of the bench is to fasten the flying drone to a secure surface connected to the iron frame by springs in series with force sensors.
The energy parameters are monitored using internal sensors that measure electrical-energy parameters in total safety. After repairing a drone, DronesBench let you carry out a test to check up that IDB, drone weight and battery capacity are compliant with the working limits in order to issue a certificate attesting that the repairer has not modified the technical specifications of the drone permitted to fly.

FEATURES

Measure of vector force and decomposition on X, Y, Z axes to measure the drone’s weight and payload, and to measure the horizontal forces in order to set up the balance and to evaluate the maximum wind speed the drone can bear.

DronesBench has a power input connector that can be used to connect the drone’s own battery or the bench charger. The drone’s battery cable is plugged to another connector. This way the drone’s electrical current passes through the bench and it is possible to carry out all the measurements.

The measuring head of the bench is equipped with an electronic level to determine and correct the perfect horizontality of the support surface.

Measurement of tension power, electricity and power absorbed by the drone.

Measurement of the drone’s absorbed energy to evaluate the efficiency of the battery.

Measurement of IDB, DronesBench Index, which represents the grams of thrust power per watt, in order to evaluate the efficiency of the propulsion system and to discover hidden damages.
